How does it make you feel to know Obama would sit down to talk with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad?

(Yes, the same guy who says gays/lesbians/transexuals should be executed!) McCain may not support Gay partnerships, but you don't see him hanging out with murderers like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

1. great - no war has solved any problems but many words have.
2. At least he would be in close enough range to beat the living hell out of him. That's better than Bush could ever do.
3. Good. I think peaceful diplomacy is always the correct first step.
4. Do you know what they talked about when they were sat together? Doesn't that show you that Obama is more open to meeting bigoted people than McCain? Would it have been better if he had been sat with a murderer like GW Bush??

Okay...Ahmadi-whatever..is a lunatic(to say the least)...But its not like Senator Obama shares his views=|..I doubt their going to sit and talk about executing gays...I feel proud for him(Obama)..that he would take that risk for his country, and its not like other persons in the Government never proposed "talking" to the enemies...

7. Well it's a hell of a lot better solution to meet with him than it is to just bomb the hell out of him when our military is already spread thin with two other wars. Moreover, Obama wouldn't be "hanging out with" him and going and shooting a few rounds of golf, etc. It'd be a governmental, diplomatic meeting.

9. There is a great difference between diplomatic talks and "hanging out". Diplomatic talks is something that Bush wouldn't know if it came up and beaned him with a cricket bat. I'd gladly support a candidate who was more willing to talk to people we don't agree with and look for a peaceful diplomatic solution rather than just bomb the sh!t out of everyone that *might* disagree with us.
10. It is better than a President purposely lying by saying “The British Government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa” in order to promote a war that benefited the company that had been run by the Vice-President and has cost more than 4100 soldiers their lives and left many more soldiers wounded.
11. I feel absolutely bored. Why should I care that there is a chance that they would talk? Talk about dinner maybe, that would be interesting.
12. I think Obama would do ANYTHING that is the exact opposite of what George Bush would do. In this case it would be a colossal mistake. It's a sign of weakness and would be a totally fruitless venture. M.A. is a thug and a nutcase that even his own people do not support. Perhaps we could find some more moderate elements to chat with...get them some help in overthrowing M.A.
