Why is it that online news is now more in the form of video instead of article format?
I find it annoying that more often than not you have to watch a video instead of being able to read the article when getting online news. What is so bad about reading these days? I am not a reader myself, but I certainly don't like waiting for a video to load and then have to watch it when I could have read the article and moved on long before if I were to watch the video. Does anyone else feel this way or have an opinion?

- Yes, it's because we want things now and the lazy don't want to read.
- How articles appear online is usually based on the original source so if it was on a TV program it is usually a video but if it was written for a newspaper it is an article. Some sites do a good job on having both while others do not change it at all.
