What happens if Iran really is developing nuclear weapons to terrorize the USA?

As of right now, Iran will be able to develop multiple nuclear weapons withing 1-3 years. My question is, if they end up making bombs and they nuke an american city/multiple american cities, what happens to Obama's reputation? (please no stupid comments about how im just ranting about Obama, im not saying i want this to happen, im just asking a simple question)

2. i can assure you that iran isnt making any nuclear bombs .......it is obvious that they have the right to continue with their peaceful nuclear energy program ...!(are you saying that only americans can have nuclear energy? )

If Iran ever did get a nuke (which the UN, US Israel, etc. wouldn't let happen) and if, with that nuke, they attack a US city, not just America but all of NATO would go to war against Iran, and probably gut out its nuclear capability. The last thing anyone would care about is Obama's reputation, I'd think people would be more concerned that their country was nuked. Anyway, Iran would be retarded to attack America, they know that it's suicide, even if they do hate us. No matter how much they hate the US, Iran still hates Israel more, and the Israelis would never let Iran get that power. Obama would have nothing to do with it, and if it's a viable threat his reputation isn't tarnished, he's just doing his job.
