President Iran

Is Iran hypocritical in criticizing Israel, which allows for freedom of religion while Iran does not?

I always hear Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad criticizing Israel, but does he realize that Muslims are free to practice their religion there while Jews are not free to practice their religion in Iran? Isn't that hypocritical?

  1. Your question, being based on totally erroneous assumptions, cannot be answered.
  2. If it were true but it ain't. I love you too Sawfanatic, lol!Keep twisting it,you're good at it.
  3. Jeffrey you are wrong.
  4. Misty blues idiotic question, answer, and responses to anythign about Israel is simply laughable. Iran will never show its own problems, hanging homosexuals, banning religious movement, etc, etc. Do you know 11 million Muslims have died in warfare, of that 11 million, 10 million were killed by other Muslims, but Iran would still blame Israle and deny the holocasut, but to the direct answer, yes, its very hypocritical
  5. Yes. Hypocrisy abounds. I lived in Saudi Arabia for 5 years. No other religions are allowed to practice there and Jews are forbidden to enter. Everyone receives an iquama ( a state issued ID) Its color shows your religious affiliation not your nationality.ALl Muslim received the same color, non-muslims another. Non-Muslims were not permitted to enter Mecca or Medina...When I say not permitted, I mean there is a road that goes around the outside of these cities for non- Muslims. You can not enter the city at all. So is this exclusionary..yes.... Can anyone enter Israel?..yes...Hypocritical?...you decide. Iran is operating on the same type of principle.
  6. yes
  7. Your statement is not true. There are many Jews in Iran, a lot of them have migrated to the US but quite a few of them still live in Iran.
  8. It is not hypocritical in the sense that for muslims everything that does not conform to Islam is subject to criticism. The Quran extensively prescribes hatred and violence toward Jews and Christians, and Israel is their primary target. President Ahmadinejad and the iranian people uphold the Quran to the word openly and with pride.
