President Iran

Columbia University has invited Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak on campus.?

And that loonatic is coming! This Monday, the "intelligent" college will lend their left-winged ears to listen to a known terrorists view of the world. I wonder if he'll tell the women they should be beaten and sent home to give birth like in his country too? Hmmmm, I wonder..... http://www.columbia.edu/cu/news/07/09/sipa.pdf So I guess my question is, WHO ACTUALLY THINKS THIS IS A GOOD IDEA. Oh and don't forget that Mahmoud believes that the Holocaust never happened and he's VERY good friends with top KKK members who have spoken together at many different anti-semetic councils.

Public Comments

  1. You lost me at "VERY good friends with top KKK members". He should be allowed to speak.
  2. Are you surprised? Most college campuses are run by left-wing, far out libs who believe this guy is just misunderstood and being persecuted by the evil US and Bush. It's college professors who keep the 9/11 conspiracy theories going. I guarantee you they'll listen with respect and concern and then announce via press conference that we don't get what he's saying because WE'VE been brainwashed by the right and Bush. At least he's not getting anywhere near ground zero. There ya go with that first guy. I sure hope that the Anti-Defamation League and some other groups are there to protest.
  3. he may be invited but I do not belive he will come. Beside it a free country and if crack head have the right to speak ;-)
  4. Personally, I believe that many "Institutions of Higher Learning" in the United States, are populated by people who are educated beyond the personal safety of themselves and the people around them. That is why I learn either on-line or through some other correspondence. I am not interested in hanging out with a bunch of Pu***'s -Hope that helps!
  5. I agree - this guy is the loosest of loose cannons. He's going to need VERY heavy security if he comes.
  6. Please try to calm down and remember that the news media in this country is quite biased. In other words Israel can have nuclear weapons but not Iran. It is good to hear both sides of every story. If he is as bad as you say, I feel certain the students at Columbia are intelligent enough to make their own judgements. I feel it was in poor taste and bad manners to decline Mr Ahmadinejad's request to place a wreath at the World Trade Center site. It is hopeless when we do not even try to be diplomatic.
  7. better to be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. This guy is just as transparent as all the other world leaders. My concern though is not him speaking...or the college condoning it...My concern is this plays well into the hands of those who think attacking Iran is a good move and will use this event as a means to a horribly botched invasion.Remember the old days when we could self preserve with the saying "sticks and stones might break my bones but words will never hurt me"? Now it's more like...A fart in Iran is evidence of deadly gas/wmd...Why don't we hunker down and wait till they actually do something against one of our allies so we can all see clearly why we must deploy...And not a minute before. The middle east is still way over there last I looked,And no way the entire world will become muslim,Too much apathy, too much atheism, and most importantly The women, wives, daughters, moms and sisters will never buy an edict that enslaves them....All men of so called power should start sleeping with one eye opened.Because there powers are not beyond the understanding of those who serve willingly for now...
  8. I am horrified that this man is being invited to speak at a University. My only consolation is that presumably most of the students will be intelligent enough to recognize a madman when they see one. Ahmadinejad has repeatedly and publicly vowed to destroy Israel. Right now, Iran has 600 missiles pointing directly at the Jewish state. A few days ago, I watched a programme in which a British journalist was interviewing Ahmadinejad. The Iranian leader again insisted - while smiling - that Israel 'must cease to exist'. In Iran women are regularly stoned to death for their 'sins' - men rarely receive this punishment, though. I hope Columbia Uni gives Ahmadinejad the reception he deserves. In other words, an icy one.
  9. I am an American first who happens to be Jewish. I agree that he should be able to lay the wreath. While I personally feel that this moron is worse than Saddam ever was. While he is in our country, he should be given the freedom to speak. If Columbia University whats to give him a forum, there is no Constitutional right that says I have to listen. He will speak at the UN, again I won't be listening. He can say what he wants, where he wants, all over the world, but he cannot say it in my home.
  10. ok listen up all you fear-mongering neoconservatives, you serape wearing hippies, and you towl headed muslum purists: This dialouge has to happen for there to be any hope of peaceful solution DESPITE the obvious hatred from ALL sides of the issues and their equally rediculous public standpoints. Unless you actually want to start WWIII between the jew loving west and the jew hating middle east STOP TALKING AND REGURGITATING what you hear on the news, and START LISTENING to real people with real opinions. you dont have to like it, in fact if you truely listen and still dont like it, then youre much better off than you were before hand cause youre equiped to debate the issue intelligently. You cant defuse a situation which you dont understand. Your subjective viewpoints mean nothing without knowing their oppositions. Take a step back from your hate, cause if you dont, YOU WILL BE THE ONE to destroy the world. PERIOD. I love you all. No exceptions.
  11. As a former Army intelligence officer who has spent considerable time in Iraq, I can say with conviction that Iranian complicity in global terror is axiomatic. Their involvement with Lebanese Hezbollah and the Jayash Al-Mahdi in Iraq are widely known throughout the intelligence community. While in Iraq we found THOUSANDS of EFPs (the most lethal IED), which are the hallmark of the Sepah-e Pasdaran, Badr Corps and other elements of Iranian covert operations and intelligence apparatus. These weapons use passive infrared detonation systems and were concealed in faux concrete foam designed to look like a street curb. This is not something the average disenfranchised, illiterate Iraqi has the technical acumen or resources to fabricate and employ. The Farsi markings and stamps on the casings were particularly damning. It is also widely known that since the inception of democracy in Iraq that Iran has taken great measures to ensure they have firmly entrenched themselves into the fledgling Iraqi government. The Iraqi Ministry of Defense and Interior are practically run by an assembly of Shia politicians who unilaterally swear allegiance to the Ayatollah. If we had a real leader he would arrest this scum the instant he stepped foot on American soil, if for nothing else than his involvement in the take over of the American embassy in Tehran in 1979 and subsequent hostage standoff. It is disgraceful that Columbia University would allow this man a forum to speak.
