What are the supreme leader Sayyed Ali Khameneii and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's views on the West?

This question is for anyone to answer. I have a good Idea the outlook of both individuals views but would like to see other opinions and answers.

Khamenei has been described as consistent in his opposition to the United States, and the Western World in general, which is a theme of his speeches no matter whether the topic is foreign policy, agriculture or education. During Ahmadinejad's presidency, Iran and the US have had the most high-profile contact in almost 30 years. Iran and the US froze diplomatic relations in 1980 and had no direct diplomatic contact until May 2007.
