What do you think of Iran's presidents remarks about the US and Israel today?
He is always critical and there is an obvious hate for the US and Israel. Will there be a war with this country too?
Public Comments
- Yes, and their arrogance will get them destroyed.
- Oh but dont you know, what we need is to sit down with Ahminidajerk, with no preconditions becuase iran is too small a country to be a threat to us or israel. Just ask obama. those were his own words.
- War with them yes, it should have started during the Carter administration but the peanut man hd not the guts or foresight to take them out! No doubt about it they want Israel gone and as soon as the nukes go online it is countdown to Armageddon!
- He is a crackpot. Hopefully, he wil be overthrown.
- that Iranian dude can't even speak english, who knows what the hell he said!
- No chance, its a lot bigger than Iraq, Afgan or Vietnam, you wouldn't have a prayer.. He's a nutter but after what has been said about him what do you expect Valentines.
- Whether or not there is war is entirely up to the U.S. government. Beyond that, the President of Iran is very well entitled to make such remarks, especially considering the extremely poor treatment of his country and fellow citizens at the hands of the U.S. government over the past 60 years.
- I forget who messed up Iran again? That's right Jimmy Carter, so we should elected Jimmy Obama Carter Jr. to fix it? Jimmy fixed so many things, oh thats right, he didn't fix anything.
- You must understand that much of the US position in the Middle East is based on bias and ignorance. This is not a new problem, but has existed ever since the US was founded. American policymakers are very misinformed about the region, and the support of Israel and Zionism goes back to the very heritage of America, specifically the struggle for religious freedom. As a result this has meant that the US has taken a position consistently and blindly supportive of Israel, usually for all the wrong reasons. If there is a war it would be a grave mistake and yet another example of the US failure to objectively understand the world outside of out borders. Like him or not, Ahmadinejad is a force in the region and better informed about a lot of things in his own neighborhood than are biased and ignorant American policymakers. Ahmadinejad is probably a lot more accurate in his statements about the Middle East than is President George Bush, who is single-mindedly pursuing an agenda regardless of the facts.
- I take his comments as they are, from a terrorist. I only wish I was young enough to get the chance to put a bullet between his eyes when he starts that war and believe me, he's terrorist enough to do just that. He's murdered Americans in the past and he has no problem murdering teenagers for being gay, he'll have no problem starting a war with Israel and America. This is why we DON'T want Obama as president, he'll kiss that terrorist's butt.
