Did anyone hear the Irain president Ahmadinejad say that that the US and Iran are not headed for war?
Isn't that something to shout hallalulah about instead of grouse about? Talk about grouchy people. This is a light in the darkness of war torn nations. Come on and see something good about it. We aren't going to war with Iran. The president said so. I meant the Irain president. What do you think he's trying to do? Will he destroy us while lying to us? None of you allow email to discuss this further so I'm just going to let the community vote. I see nothing I would vote for unless I discussed it further.

- That's great if its true, but can you really believe what he says?
- You pick this one thing to believe from his mouth. Take off the rose colored glasses, get off the LSD, remove the flip flops and get into the real world. He is a lying, murdering maniac and the only words from his mouth that you should believe is "I'm here" when you see him. Other than that, don't take it as anything but a lie.
- sardines don't usually precipitate conflicts with whales
- no. i'm sorry but i never heard about that
- In the mean time my Brothers are getting killed by Iranian IED,s And all of the middle east is in turmoil stirred by the Revolutionary guards and Quuds forces. Far as I'm Concerned we are already at war just the smug chickenshit cowards are to busy appeasing to realize it. wonder if that smug look will still be on those folks faces when its removed from their necks.
- It sounds like he's trying to defuse the situation between the US and Iran. I hope he's successful in that.. the last thing we need is another war. Whether or not Admadinejad is sincere, a lot depends on what Bush and Cheney want to do. I don't believe that Iran has threatened us, but Bush certainly has talked a lot about attacking Iran.
- Decode this lyrics " Smokes get in your eyes" Ask the little children. What will happen when the nightmare become a reality in playing the big boys games? Ask them what will happen to fantasy land? Don't forget have to sleep out and live in caves. And help Mama in carrying the buckets to search for water too for food and drinks. All for the glory of idol worshiping the dead Mummy of failures and horrors of the past? Getting kick on the butts as casualty of the dead Mummy in not worshiping God. Ever wonder who created the smokes out there?
- He doesn't want his country to be wiped out with U.S. nuclear bombs, i.e. he doesn't want any war. Unfortunately Cheney and his PNAC pals, people like the blood-thirsty madman William Kristol who appears every week on Fox News... desperately DO want a war with Iran... there are plans on the table right now to bomb the crap out of Iran with nukes (since there aren't enough U.S. troops left to actually invade, they figure they just might do it all by remote-control with the U.S. military's arsenal of high-tech weapons of mass destruction) For months now, warhawks like Kristol have been trumping up claims of an imminent threat to civilization coming from Iran, with specifics such as they arming the insurgency in Iraq, or they are building a nuclear bomb, just like they did in the lead-up to the Iraq invasion - neocon idealogues like Rumsfeld and Cheney had these wars in mind, for oil and for Israel, since well before their desired "New Pearl Harbor" materialized in September, 2001. Here's what a former Ronald Reagan official has to say about the latest neocon delusions, which God forbid, could come to pass: http://www.lewrockwell.com/roberts/roberts220.html Nuclear War with Iran http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=viewArticle&code=+CH20060103&articleId=1714 Remember now that the U.S. is the only country that has used nuclear bombs against citizen populations. In fact, it is said that the equivalent of 250,000 Nagasaki bombs of radiation was released just in the early years of the Bush wars, in Afghanistan and Iraq, in the form of fallout from depleted-uranium tipped munitions: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article5855.htm Who exactly was the threat to civilization, again? Saddam Hussein? Right. Another thing which cannot be stressed enough is that Ahmadinejad was elected as a direct consequence of the U.S. invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, which greatly multiplied anti-American sentiment in that region - Iranians had been moving away from theocracy and towards more secular democratic rule before the Iraq war. In a way, Bush actually got this guy elected. Another side note: inflammatory as Ahmadejinad may have been sometimes, I think that he is not the real threat to world safety in the region - rather it is the war-mongers which surround Bush. Also, there is serious doubt whether he actually said that "Israel should be wiped off the map, " so why do the media keep repeating that he did? http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oGklDmffdGM50APqJXNyoA?p=Ahmadinejad+did+not+say+israel+should+be+wiped+off+the+map&fr=yfp-t-302&fp_ip=KR&sado=0&rd=r1&meta=vc%3Dkr Hopefully Bush and his pro-Israeli PNAC advisors realize that, even if they are still prominent on Fox News, they don't have the steam or credibilty or support for another insane and mindlessly wasteful trumped-up unprovoked war, especially not a nuclear one. On the hopeful side, Ahmadinejad's recent comments should at least show us all that the U.S. is not being provoked into a war. He seems to believe, and why wouldn't he, that as a signatory to the Nuclear Arms Proliferation Treaty, Iran has the right to pursue nuclear technology, like every other country seems to. to Horguce: you look like you could use some "appeasing" yourself, what would it take for you to stop wanting to kill people you don't even know, including civilians of all kinds (women, children, senior citizens, etc.)? Remember that your brothers are in Iraq unnecessarily, if they really are there, because of the whim of a self-proclaimed "war president" who lied to you, and that before the invasion - an illegal war of agression according to standards set at the Nuremberg trials against Nazi Germany - there were no "terrorists" in Iraq.
