President Iran

What will be the ultimate resolution to issue of Iran seeking to have nuclear power?

Will Iran develop this technology and will the rest of the world just have to live with it? Or will other measures be taken to stop them? Are Iran's goals peaceful? Or should this be a worry to other nations in the region?

  1. We've had a lot of countries join the nuke club over the years. A bad actor like North Korea never launched one, and Pakistan and India haven't had a nuclear exchange despite tensions between the two. I suspect Israel may bomb them and delay the development of the technology. What people forget is that the Middle East is too concentrated for one country to nuke another without killing themselves as well. But it depends on how crazy the Mullahs are in Iran.
  2. This is what I think will happen. If Obama is elected, he will reach a deal with them. They will be allowed to continue using nuclear plants for energy production and they will come under inspection to prevent them from enriching uranium to weapons-grade. We will open up some trade with Iran. If McCain is elected, I think he will follow the neo con plan to bomb Iran soon.
  3. Now, why you want them to stop developing nuclear weapons? Who gives us such rights ? Yes Iran is peaceful country, they have never attacked another country.
  4. stop seeking nuclear power
  5. They want the Bomb to attack Israel........their head wacko has said he wants to wipe the Jews off the earth.....the solution...He wants nukes...we send him one....mushroom cloud over Iran......BOOM....we win
  6. Iran is a rogue nation run by islamic extremists who support terrorist organizations like Hezbolah and Al Qaeda. They have said so over and over again that Israel needs to be wiped off the face of the earth, and have threatened a terrorist war against the US if attacked. All that + they're developing nuclear weapons claiming that they need the energy? C'mon. We can either wait for them to actually finish developing nuclear weapons -or- put a stop to it before hand. The only question is who the better person for the job of handling that would be? Obama? Or McCain?
  7. Well, we have to learn diplomacy again, and start asking them how they are doing? Or if they need a hand with their nuke program? They do for sure, then we can go there , start making bunch of money. and be in charge.
  8. Iran's president is an extremist, lacks tolerance, and I'm sure is "anti westerner" or at least anyone that isn't Muslim. i personally feel that the UN / USA and their allies handled the Iraq situation wrong, and the Iran issue may turn out a similar way, however, if Iran's president looks too menacing or actually invades another country, then i think the west should have the Iranian president taken out by a sniper or other means. full scale war is just unacceptable as the leaders are responsible for the followers and the propagander that they fill their countries heads with, take out the leader and it'll defuse the situation !
